Application for admission to 2nd or 3rd year of a Licence, Licence professionnelle or D.U. (University Diploma)
For holders of foreign diploma(s)
To apply for admission to the 2nd or 3rd year of a Licence, Licence Professionnelle or D.U. (University Diploma), candidates must follow one of the following two procedures:
- For candidates who are nationals and residents of one of the following countries: Algeria, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Benin, Bolivia, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Comoros, Congo, Ivory Coast, Djibouti, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Gabon, Georgia, Ghana, Guinea, Haiti, Hong Kong, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Chad, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Israel, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Dominican Republic, Lebanon, Madagascar, Malaysia, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, Qatar, Russia, Senegal, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Togo, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States, Vietnam.
You must contact the CEF (Centres d'Études pour la France – Study Centers for France) by logging on to the website of the CEF in your country of residence (e.g. www.algerie.campusfrance.org) and following the instructions given there. This procedure is compulsory to obtain a residence permit.

Please note that the deadline for registering with Campus France is set by each embassy. Consult the Campus France website in your country of residence for the application timetable.
If your application is pre-selected, you will receive a message on Campus France explaining how to proceed to the second admission phase.
- For all other candidates:
You must submit your application via eCandidat: for each diploma, the submission dates are indicated directly in the application. Important: your eCandidat account must not be created before January 2025.
You will be asked to provide the following documents:
► A cover letter and curriculum vitae (CV) written in French,
► A certificate of French language level, if you are not from a French-speaking country (minimum French level required: TCF B2, DELF B2, or DUEF B2)
► Photocopy of all university diplomas and high school diploma*
► Photocopies of transcripts of these diplomas*
► An official syllabus of courses taken at university specifying the number of hours*
► Photocopy of your identity card or passport
*These documents must be translated into French by a sworn translator.
Applications will be forwarded to the admissions committees, and you will be notified by the end of June 2025. If your application is accepted, you will receive an e-mail containing a code that will enable you to register administratively online, (in French), and then follow the various stages of registration.
