"The international dimension is a treasure that we nourish every day..."

International openness is just as much a mission of the University, as defined in the French Education Code, as it is a core value on which to build cooperative dynamics that are entirely fertile - not to say essential - to the missions of education and research. I'm convinced that international student mobility is a key factor in student development and success. Welcoming them in the best possible conditions, to encourage their student experience, is therefore a major challenge for our school. Whether in training or research, our projects very often have an international dimension. It's such a natural orientation that we sometimes forget to make the most of it. That's why we're working to make this undeniable asset to our establishment more visible.

UT2J has been awarded the “Bienvenue en France” (Welcome to France) label

 
The label, whose aim is to raise the profile of French institutions and their international training offerings, is a mark of confidence and attests to the quality and continuous improvement of their international student services. It represents a promotional and outreach tool for each accredited establishment, and is obtained on the basis of an evaluation of the following 6 key areas of quality and accessibility:


•      Information
•     Reception facilities
•    Training offer and support for courses
•    Campus life and accommodation
•    Commitment 
•    Post-graduation follow-up
•    Commitment to sustainable development and corporate social responsibility (SD&CSR)

To date, 156 French higher education establishments (private and public) are recognized for their ability to welcome international students, with 3 possible levels of recognition. UT2J applied for the label for the first time, and was directly positioned at the 2nd level of recognition, demonstrating a high level of commitment to welcoming international students.
